WorldSBK 28th – 30th July 2023 – the biggest motoring event in the Czech Republic. The World Superbike Championship, which for the third year in a row is also held in our country, at the Most Autodrom. This championship extends beyond Europe to South America and Asia. Motorcycles of the SBK, SSP and SSP300 categories compete here.
Our company has again this year completely provided medical services for this championship. From a medical perspective, this is a very logistically and staff-intensive event for which our team has been preparing for several months in advance. This year’s edition was again managed without any problems.
The Thursday before the race weekend was the first day spent at the Most circuit for us. FIM track safety inspections and familiarization of the riders with the track took place. Our medical staff had a discussion with the CMO chief race doctor on this day. The discussion with the Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Head of Medical Support was twice each day – morning and evening.
Friday was free practice, where we were already fully deployed and ready to hit the track and the polygon in the fan zone.
Saturday and Sunday – race days. Millions of pairs of eyes on TV screens and in the grandstands watching the championship and our medical staff fully focused and following the action on the circuit.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this. It is only because of you that we are able to put on an event of this magnitude and it is only because of you that everyone returned home safe and sound.
